I'm Just a Simple Woman. But I'm On Purpose.
I built simple systems at a corporate level that got adopted worldwide. A simple Excel spreadsheet that changed the way the whole company did business — and I didn't even know Excel. I just knew how to figure out problems and find the tools that helped me.
I was a single mom going through a brutal divorce — the kind that involved multiple restraining orders. I made people millions while going bankrupt from that divorce, while they paid me a wage I couldn't survive on and crossed boundaries I stated clearly several times.
I turned that experience and others into a thriving consulting business that's made... numbers that need not be disclosed just because it's the internet. But people were VERY happy and very comfortable.
Myself included... but not at first.
So, I chose food stamps over client abuse. When I heard "what you allow continues," I knew it meant I had to trust God and let go of those who disrespected my role as mother while exploiting my skills and mind for their extreme personal gain — knowingly, because I told them regularly why I was doing what I was doing for them.
Making them go from four figures a month to seven figures in a year should have been worth more than $15/hr for a single mom with four daughters.
I became a single mom who had been homeschooling an 8 and 10-year-old while wrestling with a 1 and 4-year-old at the same time. I had taken a break from clients for a few months, so I had no income of my own.
And I gave up our home and financial support to give them peace and safety — not to go find pain somewhere else just so I could make ends meet while blessing others with the gifts God gave me and I worked to multiply.
I had to finish the job and give them the best I could.
(Full disclosure... the enemy STILL wages war on us. I didn't get rid of him. But I stopped letting him make me afraid.)
I'm not here to save anyone. I know who I am and whose I am — and I've learned that sometimes all we need is some words of wisdom, community, support, and someone who's been there.
